The AV Awards are probably the most prestigious and widely recognised awards within the audiovisual industry. In 2020, a year like no other, One Digital Signage are hugely proud to have received a finalist nomination in not one but two categories at this year’s ceremony!
First up, it was actually announced a couple of months ago that we had been selected by the expert judging panel as a finalist in the SME Business of the Year category.
This was massively exciting new for us and, with our entry focused on the growth in our core digital signage solutions as well as the innovation involved in the deveoplement of our Covid Solutions range, it was great to have our hard work in both areas through the last 12 months recognised.
Then, shortly after the category finalists were released by the team at the AV Awards, it was announced that there would also be a special category added to the 2020 edition – the AV in Action award.
This award was devised by the organisers to celebrate innovation, ingenuity and commitment amongst the AV community in the face of the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.
With an element of our SME category nomination being based around our approach to delivering solutions for Covid-secure environments, we were naturally keen to highlight these efforts during 2020 with our entry. Efforts that were undertaken alongside partners within the AV industry to support businesses, individuals and the economy as a whole.
So, it was with great delight that we recently found out we’d received a further nomination and made the finalists for this special AV in Action award. And to make things even more interesting, the winner would be selected by way of a public vote.
This process is now open and you can support us by submitting your vote here… https://www.avinteractive.com/choose-av-action-winner/
With the AV Awards now set to be a virtual event taking place on 20th November, we’ve got our online spaces booked and we’ll be donning the evening wear regardless to find out how we fare alongside the best and brightest within the audiovisual industry.
Fingers crossed!
P.s. Go on, lend us your vote in the AV in Action award if you’ve got a spare second. We’d massively appreciate it!
